Field Day and Kindergarten Graduation…..

Olivia had field day a few days before graduation and I was fortunate enough to be able to go and volunteer:0 It was such a fun day watching  Olivia with all of her friends and watching what a great time they all had! Love that she is building friendships and loving her school!

Haston, Vika, and Olivia
(the three most talkative in the class):)

Graduation was so special and I was so proud of Olivia! What a year in kindergarten can bring……..
We can now……..
*tie our shoes
*subtract and add
*write sentences
*READ!
*memorized psalm 23
* built lasting friendships!!
* and Olivia loved, loved, loved her teacher Mrs. Wagner, and we are so grateful for her! Olivia cried as soon as graduation was over because she was sad to say goodbye to her teacher:(

The 4 kindergarten classes sang 5 different songs and were individually announced and received their diplomas:)

 Olivia and Mrs. Wagner………..
My graduate, so proud of her!!!! Wish time would stand still………..

Finishing up school…..

Olivia is counting down the days to kindergarten graduation:) We are in the home stretch of finishing up school and then off to Texas to be with daddy for awhile! She is so excited about the days ahead…..field day, field trips, and her graduation. I am so proud of her and I cannot believe how much she has grown over the past year! She lost another tooth yesterday and as each day passes she is more and more grown up:(
Her school had a mothers day celebration on friday and us girls went out for ice cream after:)
 My two rays of sunshine:)
Owen and I stopping to say "cheese":)

Back to baseball:)

We are back in the swing of baseball season:) We have been in Arizona for spring training a couple of weeks and have loved every minute being with daddy, baseball family and friends, and visitors! We head to Austin, Tx tomorrow where Sean will be starting the season in triple a, we are excited for Austin, and see what God has in store for us there and for the baseball season......I am sure it will be full of adventure, as it always is.......we feel blessed daddy is healthy and with a great organization, and that Olivia's school is working so well with us and especially grateful that Olivia and I are doing so well homeschooling, wasn't sure how it would go:) She read her first entire book today on her own:) So exciting:) Owen is talking so much, and loving being with daddy and his sister so much:) Praising God for allowing us the opportunity to be together as a family as much as we can!

Daddy and his girl........
Owen taking it all in at the ball game, this guy loves some baseball and watching the catcher's every move:)
When they are not watching the game, we empty the purse with things to do......Olivia colors and Owen plays super heroes:)
So proud of Olivia, she remembered how to swim the last few days at the pool, took some practice but it all came back:) She just has to take off her shades to do so......such a diva!
So many places we love in Arizona, this is a splash area in Scottsdale that the kids love:)

We had lots of visitors this spring training......Mmi and Gpa, Aunt Jean and Uncle Gordon......
this is Olivia and Aunt Jean at the game.....
Owen, Rilyn, Olivia and Emerson testing the water, as you can tell it was a little too cold to get all the way in:)

Olivia's 6th Birthday!

Happy Birthday Olivia!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe my little girl is turning 6!!!!! It just doesn't even sound accurate, no way 6 years can go that fast! My oh my what a year can bring!!
We have lost our first tooth (two more loose as we speak), we have accepted that we have to go to school to not only talk and have a great time with our friends but we are there to learn…..once we grasped that we have taken off at school! Almost can tie our shoes, sometimes loosely but they are tied! Reading is coming along and so is math and spelling. Favorite activities are ...still watching any kind of movie (especially at night with popcorn), playing with my little pet shop, zoobles, or barbies, love love love dressing up, everyday when we get home from school a dress (preferably princess ) is put on and wear it all night! Love cheerleading, and gymnastics, but, ultimately you just want to be a singer when you grow up:) You are still my ray of sunshine, always happy, always singing, always encouraging everyone around you…..it is amazing at 6 you bring out the best in me, daddy, your brother and everyone around you. Your sweet spirit is a true gift from God, and I thank Him everyday for you!!!!! Once again, I am praying the next 6 years go a little slower, I wish time could stand still! We love you to the moon!

We celebrated Olivia's bday this past weekend……she had a tea party with all of her friends from school at a cute little boutique that creates theme bday parties…..they had a great time dressing up, having a runway show, and a real tea party. I think they enjoyed the sugar cubes for the tea most of all, not sure how many were consumed over a very short period of time! After that we went to dinner with family at a fav mexican restaurant and Olivia got to wear the sombrero hat while we sang happy birthday in spanish……she has asked to do that since last year!!:) Of course my camera was dead once we got to the restaurant, but, I have pics of the tea party!Sipping some tea……they also had petite sandwiches and cookies:) I love how birthday girl even has her pinkie out while holding her teacup!
Birthday girl in all of her glory……..
My favorite picture………..silly faces…….
The yummy, delightful sugar cubes ………

Time to pick out the perfect dress for the runway show……….there were over 200 dresses to choose from, jewelry, and they even fixed up their hair if they wanted to…… such a fun time!

Catching Up!!

I have neglected blogging and even taking pictures over the last few months! I feel like I barely have time to read through emails, or even jump on the computer these days.......here is to getting back to it!
Christmas 2011 was wonderful......always love that time of year...... being with family and friends, watching the kids in excitement Christmas morning, the new and old family traditions we carry out, and most of all celebrating the birth of our Savior! I am sad when it is time to take down decorations and usually wait until the last minute.....we just took down our last christmas tree 2 nights ago:) After Christmas we drove to Mississippi to visit our good friends....it is also becoming a tradition! Sean hunts for days at a time, the kids have a blast playing together, and Megan and I get to hang out like old times:) We enjoyed ringing in the New Year with them too!
Other than that, busy busy with school, cheerleading (the newest interest), speech therapy, occupational therapy, a new business venture Sean and I are getting into (frozen yogurt franchise), and planning for the baseball season....as much as we can plan!
Sean signed with the Texas Rangers last week so we are excited about that and the fact we get to go back to Arizona for a few visits between school to catch up with friends and family!

Recent pics, like I said not taking as many pictures as I should be, so not the best quality overrall!:)

Owen is doing awesome.....he loves his school and so do we, and his speech is constantly improving.....we have our days, but overall doing great, loving his cars and trucks still and he knows what he wants and when he wants it!:)

My happy little man, he melts my heart......
Olivia has begged to do cheerleading for quite sometime, and so far she LOVES it:)
My little ham, always a story to tell or a song to sing:)..........
Olivia loves her big cousin Meg, we attend many of her games, love when we get to spend time with them!New Year's Eve in Mississippi.....Will and Megan took us to one of their favorite spots for a delicious meal and we ended up staying there catching up all night until it was time to ring in the New Year! Thanks for an awesome trip guys, can't wait till next year!

Happy 3rd Birthday Owen!

Happy 3rd Birthday Owen!
We celebrated with family and friends and rice krispie treat cakes just
for you……they have become a favorite treat since we started the gluten
free diet 5 months ago!:) You received lots of cars, trucks, and trains
this year for your birthday, which of course you loved, and you enjoyed watching everyone sing happy birthday to you, and of course your
sister was the lead singer! I once again cannot believe how fast time
goes and that my baby boy is no longer a baby!

You bring unspeakable joy into our lives everyday……and we are so blessed! Each day is a new day and our approach is much the same. To see the world thru your eyes is truly a gift. I never want to miss out on the opportunity to see things the way you do, to somehow feel or realize the way you must feel sometimes when something doesn't make sense for you or the times when it does;)…..and to be the one to comfort you when they don't. But most of all to know that God has such special plans for your life and He chose us to help get you there. There is not a day that passes that I am not amazed by you. You know your colors, letters, numbers, shapes even……and even though you do not verbalize them often, when we see you at work at therapy, school, or even at home with puzzles or the Ipad…...your brilliance shines thru! We see you becoming an engineer, or a mechanic at some point in your life…..we are convinced you know the every detail to car, truck, or train……how it works and maybe even why…. You examine every detail. You have a wonderful sense of humor (got to in our family), and your laughter is contagious, your sister will do anything to make you laugh over and over:) You love running and playing outside, playing baseball…..you are always the pitcher and someone better be catching:), you love, love, love the movie cars and lightning mcqueen and all the characters in the movie……we never leave home without a car in hand, apple juice, and your infamous brown blanket. In the mornings you are the happiest, there is nothing better than entering your room and seeing your smiley face, and watching you run to your cars to pick out the best one to hold onto for the day:) We cannot wait to watch you grow, I will try my best to savor each moment because time is flying and before long you will be off to school…..
Happy 3rd Birthday Owen
We love you buddy, all the way to the moon……..
